My Dear Jane

January 2016 from Newsletter

I browsed around the internet and found some great sites with free patterns for quilt blocks. I saw a few quilts at various quilt shows that were stunning. All (!!) they consisted of were a variety of blocks that had been sized either 5 or 6 inches. I am sure that most of you are aware of the Dear Jane quilt. It was designed with 169 5-inch blocks. I made one — one block at a time. It took me two years but I enjoyed every minute of it. It occurred to me that anyone could design a similar quilt so I am including a few sites with a variety of blocks, any of which could be sized to a size you need to use. Enjoy!!  Chris Bernet
